The U.S. Department of Education has added a list of Frequently Asked Questions to their Net Price Calculator Requirement page, which gives definitive answers to several important questions.  A couple of highlights:

• An institution can require the student to answer questions related to merit aid eligibility (such as GPA).
• A multi-campus institution/system can use a single Net Price Calculator, as long as the student can select a campus and the output is specific to that campus.

Our EFC calculator for the 2011-2012 academic year is now publicly available. Also, we have released our college cost estimator and and loan repayment calculators to assist students and families in planning their college financing.

NASFAA members-- check your mailboxes.  The latest issue of NASFAA's Student Aid Transcript magazine (Volume 21, No. 3) features several articles about Net Price Calculators.  AidCalc's Lisa McCarty participated in a Q & A titled "Is a Customized Net Price Calculator for You?"  We hope you find it helpful in your decision making process.
